This morning the brand new trailer for Avengers: Endgame, slated for release on April 26th, was dropped. The trailer has an overarching sadness to it as it goes through and shows what each of their lives used to be like before the snap. The black and white they used only builds on to the sad tone. The intense music it's backed by and the dialogue spoken makes you question if they can get it all back.

Several new things were introduced into the fold this time around. For one, there's a clip of all the remaining avengers in brand new matching "avengers" suits. It'll be interesting to see them all actually looking like a team for once. What really stole the show in the trailer was the very end clip of Carol Danvers and Thor. She is standing right in front of Thor and he calls for his hammer having it zoom past Carol's head. She doesn't even blink, causing Thor to state "I like this one". The final piece of this puzzle that took fans by surprise was the possible introduction of Katie Bishop. It is a quick scene, but you can see Hawkeye instructing a young girl in archery. Many fans have speculated that this could mean a possible introduction of Hawkeye's successor Katie Bishop. Others think that this could just be Clint's daughter instead. It's still too early to tell if it's Katie.

Of course it couldn't be all good, there had to be some controversy along with it. With the release of the trailer also came the new poster. Everyone whose face is featured on the poster has their name at the top of the poster and is easily visible, except for one. There are 12 names at the top and 13 faces on the poster. The person left off is Danai Gurira who portrays Okoye in the Black Panther franchise and is a central character in the movie. Her name is featured in small print at the bottom of the post along with Gwenyth Paltrow who is not pictured. This has caused an uproar among fans as the only woman of color on the poster has been diminished.
