The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2 Trailer is Here!

Yesterday on Instagram the Sabrina team had fans get involved in "summoning" the trailer for Part 2 of the show. All over the platform people were posting videos saying the same thing, "we wish upon a wicked moon, let the trailer bless us soon". This morning fans were given the trailer full of content and insight into what Part 2 holds for Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka). Several things stuck out to me that made me want Part 2 even more.

The first thing that obviously caught my attention was the opening shot of Sabrina pouring gasoline on the floor of Baxter High and lighting a match. This is obviously alluding to a much darker side of Sabrina that will come out this season. Throughout the trailer you can see her participating in the dark arts. This was to be expected as at the end of part 1 she ultimately ends up signing her name in the book of the beast to save Greendale. Sabrina seems to be making nice with the weird sisters, which was alluded to a little in part 1. You can see scenes with Sabrina snapping necks, burning demons, and levitating. Even at the end of the trailer Father Blackwood even questions how a brand-new, half-mortal witch can be practicing such intricate magic. We'll definitely be seeing Sabrina in a different light this part.

Something I'm personally very excited for that we saw in the trailer is the dynamic between Nick (Gavin Leatherwood) and Harvey (Ross Lynch). Sabrina is clearly messing around with both of them. You see her kissing Nick and Harvey back-to-back in the trailer. The most interesting part to me was when Sabrina is standing in front of both of them asking if they can handle working together. Again this was something that was foreshadowed in the 1st part when Nick was protecting Harvey's home. I can imagine the love triangle will only intensify making the Nick-Harvey relationship even more strained. It'll also be interesting to see how Harvey is coming to terms with magic after what happened with Tommy. In the Christmas Special we saw he wasn't accepting of it and returned the enchanted pencils to Sabrina. From what we saw in the trailer you can infer that he's becoming more comfortable with it. He's seen running for Sabrina as she levitates high above the ground at the end of the trailer.

The final thing that stuck out to me was the scene where Sabrina is trying to save Ambrose (Chance Perdomo). He is seen laying on the ground unconcious covered head to toe in blood which makes me want to know what happened. It also makes me confused about the current state of Greendale. I'm excited to see how this particular scene plays out, it was obviously important enough to make it into the trailer.

It's also heavily implied that Sabrina will be meeting the Dark Lord this season, more formerly known as Satan. It'll be extremely interesting to see how that relationship plays out after how intensely he sought after her.
