After taking a break to finish out school, I'm back!!!
This past weekend on May 18th and 19th popular youtuber David Dobrik held a pop-up shop at 368 in lower Manhattan. The shop would be selling brand new exclusive merch and him and a few of his friends would make an appearance. They knew a lot of people would show up for the event but did not anticipate the thousands upon thousands of people that would show up.
The line for the shop began at 10PM on Friday May 17th. Over the next 12 hours the line grew to extreme measure. It wrapped around the entire block all the way back to the front of 368. It didn't stop there though, the line proceeded to cross the street not once, but twice. It ended up covering both sides of several streets.
David showed up with his close friends Natalie Mariduena, Jeff Wittek, Jason Nash, and Mike Sheffer. His arrival caused an immediate uproar. Shortly after, David and his friends came out onto the fire escape and were met with extreme fan reactions, you can see some clips from various instagram stories below.
The shop had a flow of people in and out all day. They decorated the inside minimalistic ally and you ordered the merch from a menu at the counter. Some pictures from inside are below.

The shop was not only a major success on the first day, but garnered a response of thousands on the next day as well. You can see more behind the scenes of David's pop-up shop in Jason's video linked below.
